Diesel twin locomotive set - class DE 6400 / NS 6400 The diesel electric locomotive DE 6400 is a diesel locomotive built by MaK (Vossloh) which is based on the German DE 1002. In 1985, 60 were ordered by the NS. Another order for 60 locomotives followed in 1989. The diesel locomotives have the company numbers 6401-6520. The locomotives reach a maximum speed of 120 km/h and can be switched into traction up to a maximum of 4. Double traction set Sound: complete
