Electric locomotive - crocodile type To mark the 10th anniversary of the Hans-Peter Porsche Dream Factory, Märklin released a replica of the first Crocodile prototype ever manufactured by Märklin for H0 gauge from 1936. Exclusively in a special Irish Green design . The replica crocodile is based on the historical design of the original prototype and combines it with modern digital technology. This makes the model both a collectors item with high nostalgia value and suitable for use on modern layouts. The H0 scale model of the Crocodile was originally planned as early as 1936 and was intended to be released under article number CCS 700. However, due in no small part to the circumstances of the time, it remained a prototype. It wasnt until 1947 that an H0 scale model of the Crocodile was presented under the number CCS 800 – later renumbered 3015.
