Period:1945 - 1956. Green painting with yellow lettering and yellow B logo. A double door on each side. Chassis with trapezoidal bracing. All cars have a load of real coal glued to an insert and have light signs of wear. . All cars are individually packaged
Cars were later (1964) given the letter designation E.
Notes: The märklin cars are based on the prottype Duisburg type of the DB from the Marklin range. The Klagenfurt type had no trapezoidal bracing under the chassis. The cars also had no braking mechanism and therefore no brake pads. The shunting ladder was also not present. There was a strengthening beam (profile) above the side doors, which is missing on the märklin model (Duisburg type). The white markings on the chassis should also be in yellow |
