| Rhaetian Railway - one-time edition of 500 units“100 Years of Chur – Arosa”
The fourth line anniversary of the Rhaetian Railway in 2014. For this occasion, the RhB Ge 4/4 II 627 “Reichenau-Tamins” locomotive was also provided with the anniversary motif shown on our wagon. It shows the Langwieser Viaduct.
A bridge construction that was revolutionary for the time (1914) in the form of a 284 meter long and 62 meter high concrete railway bridge. The middle arch of the bridge has an impressive span of 100 meters. The Langwies Viaduct is still considered a masterpiece of engineering today. |
