The set consists of 45642-1 New York Central double door boxcar, 45642-2 Great Northern RR double door boxcar, 45642-3 Armour Livestock Express livestock car, 45642-4 Chicago & Northwestern livestock car, 45642-5 Minneapolis & St. Louis hopper car, 45642-6 Delaware, Lackawanna & Western hopper car, 45642-7 New York, New Haven and Hartford hopper car, 45642-8 Humble Petroleum Products tank car, 45642 -9 Texgas Union Texas tank car, and 45642-10 PRR cabin car. The frames or floors are constructed of metal. The cars have detailed trucks with special wheel sets. Ladders and other details are separately applied. Sliding doors on the boxcars can be opened.
