Description
The Märklin 47022 is a 4-axle wagon type Res, loaded with three MB G 270 CDI Serval infantry vehicles of the Swiss Bundeswehr from era V. The wagon has a length of 22.9 cm and is equipped with close couplings ( KK). Loose rings are included. The three Serval infantry vehicles are predominantly made of metal. The other parts are made of plastic. The vehicles are painted in an olive green color. Furthermore, the vehicles are equipped with Swiss license plates Light Infantry Vehicle (LIV) Serval : The Serval is a four-wheel drive light air transportable special operations vehicle. It is also known as Wolf AGF (Information and Combat Vehicle) or LIV (SO) Light Infantry Vehicle (Special Operations). The vehicle is distinguished, like all vehicles used in special units, by its relatively strong armament and light optional armor. The Special Forces Command (KSK) reported in 2002 that it had a need for such a vehicle;. The project was completed within a year by the industry in 2003, with the Mercedes-Benz all-terrain vehicle G 270 CDI (long wheelbase) converted to meet the requirements of the KSK. To this end, the roof was removed and replaced with a roll cage. The company Rheinmetall Landsysteme supplied 21 vehicles to the special forces command. In 2006, the Swiss Army ordered a small number of vehicles for the Army Information Detachment.
