Postmuseums car no: PMS 63-07 The German railways had a number of smaller Einheits-Nebenbahnwagen cars built for the local and side lines. Compared to the well-known thunder buses, these cars were built in relatively smaller numbers. The distance between the axles was 12 meters with these carriages, a lot shorter than the 13.92 meters which applied to the thunderbuses. The walls initially consisted of steel plates, later of riveted steel sheets and later welded steel sheets. In addition to passenger cars, luggage cars of this type were also built. This type of car was set aside in the 1960s with the DB.
