Description
Märklin Minex was Märklin’s 0e narrow gauge system, introduced around 1970–1972. Scale: 1:45 (0-scale) on 16.5 mm track, which is the same gauge as H0 track but used to represent narrow-gauge railways. It was Märklin’s attempt to compete in the narrow gauge model market (like LGB). Only a very limited range of locomotives and cars was made. Production ended quickly (around 1972–73), so Minex models are rare today and sought after by collectors.
